This year marks more than 10 years since WAYINMOTION (Hangzhou Wayin Technology Co., Ltd) shipped its first batch of timing-belt clamp plates to a European automation integrator. The product line has grown, the markets have shifted, and our engineering team has expanded — but the core proposition has not changed: one-stop OEM machining for global B2B customers.
Where We Started
In the early years we focused almost exclusively on timing-belt clamp plates in imperial pitches (XL, L, H) for retrofit CNC and packaging customers. Standard 6061-T6 stock, 36 sizes, machined to print. That catalog still exists and still ships — most of the original part numbers are unchanged.
How the Catalog Grew
By year five, customers were asking whether we could also supply the pulleys, locking assemblies, gears and couplings that go on the same drive. We added those product lines one at a time, keeping the same MOQ policy and the same shipping documentation that the timing-plate customers were used to.
The Pivot Into Robotics
In the past two years we have moved into a new category: integrated robot joint modules. The decision was driven by customer requests — several of our automation customers were building quadruped and humanoid platforms and were tired of buying motors, reducers and drivers from three different vendors and assembling them by hand.
Our first integrated joint product was a 24 V 220 g unit for quadruped legs. The high-precision 48 V module with a 100:1 harmonic reducer followed for humanoid joints and collaborative arm axes.
What Has Not Changed
- 100% in-house CNC machining and quality inspection.
- English-language technical documentation and drawing support.
- Small batch and OEM projects welcome — MOQ is not a barrier for prototypes.
- Direct contact with the engineering team, not a sales intermediary.
If you have been sourcing from us for years, thank you. If you are evaluating us for the first time, we are happy to send reference parts and engineering samples on request.
